Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI)
The Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) provides a question and answer section plus fact sheets about CAPI in multiple languages. CAPI provides cash assistance to certain aged, blind, and disabled legal non-citizens ineligible for Supplemental Social Security Income (SSI) as a result of their immigration status.
